Lyeshen by Syvaender Lyeshen by Syvaender
Uploading sketches that have been done for a while already to fill the activity gap that is created by me working on a large commission u.u
I hope you all like this little sketch of my Byondi Lyesh. He's a cutie ^-^. I have to relearn how to pull of soft shading like this. All my newer shading is so dark because of my new pencil, haha.

Art and character belong to me.
Byondis belong to Shinerai

What kind of loser American dood would commission you for a ridiculously overcomplicated full-size portrait? I mean really, you gotta learn to say no sometimes.

...

Never mind, don't say no. I need the fluff xD

You'll find the agreed upon amount of fluff in the briefcase. *slides suspicious black briefcase across table*

*opens briefcase slowly, raises eyebrows* do you think this is a joke? I told you to have it here in three days. You're working on six, I expected double the fluff.

Glad to hear it works for You :3 For us it unfortunately does not, for two reasons. First, it's impossible to get more than 3 of us together, even on skype, our works schedule and life does not allow that. Second, we prefer to have an rp session in person, and therefore we play only when we all get vacation around the same time, or on some holidays that are free from work ;-;

Awh. Welp. You could always get yourself some secondary characters to play in smaller groups of the people that have time at the moment? Idk how many you are but we're 5 people that play and one game master c:

And we did that. There were 4 of us including game master(as we were switching depending on the game) but now only 2 of us have time at all. And yeah, mastering a game for one is weird. But maybe some day...
That's why I tried to rp on the net a bit, but was kinda unlucky.

I always feel like completely unregulated rp kind of has not much appeal. Like in D&D type of roleplay you always have an rng factor deciding whether or not you can pull of different things or not, whilst in pure pen and paper rp people just decide they'll do something now and write that down. And depending on how they write it you as their fellow player have no proper way of going against their decision without completely disregarding some parts of the text yknow? Like
Player A writes: "My character picks up yours and throws it across the room."
Now ofc you could just continue your own text with your character in mid air but you have no way of intervening in the part where he picks you up or where he decides to haul you. Those are all possibilities taken from you, should you have a strong feeling of not wanting your character being thrown across the room. Idk if you get my point here. We had one example in our session where one of our players (playing a sortof werewolf) decided that he'd piss on our otherworlders (some sort of dwarf-ish race I guess) leg. We should've probably rolled there idk to determine whether he succeeded in that attempt or not but our otherworldler just took the jab with humor instead (being new to this world he decided that must be some sort of greeting custom and pissed back, happens).
But yeah, point is, he could've decided to intervene in the attempt of our werewolf by lets say preventively kicking the wolf in the nuts. Then you'd have a roll and see who succeeds while in pen and paper the situation would've just happened and the otherworldler would have no chance of dodging a soiled robe.
