My very own algae covered stick. Don't touch it.

This is a particularly representative individual of my Vakyll species. A family of aquatic dragons that still rely on lungs but do have varying amounts of gills that enable them to stay underwater for prolonged times. They have a rather interesting genetic biology to them that results in alot of mutations in the germline (missing DNA reperature enzyme in the germline). Ofc this leads to alot of aborts and stillbirths but an astonishingly high number of young (which is not biologically explained by now) end up with beneficial new traits. The whole species tends to infanticide aswell as siblicide whenever they see an individual that is not completely normal (i.e. has some sort of mutation) and thus only those who have advantageous mutations survive the harsh childhood.
